Our Leadership Begins With You.
Over the last half century, SWE has made great strides in attracting young women to the incredible opportunities an engineering career path can provide. We're proud of our success and equally grateful for the sponsors and partners who have made our progress possible. But while we've come a long way, there is still much work to do.


A Growing Challenge.
Universities have seen only slight growth in the numbers of women entering and graduating from engineering programs in comparison to law and medical programs. Our goal is to increase the number of women graduating with engineering degrees from 18% to 30% by 2020.


Build. Nurture. Celebrate.
As a sponsor or partner, you can help support critical outreach programs that build and nurture interest in engineering careers among middle and high school age girls. SWE also funds many initiatives that help women advance and succeed in engineering and champions the life-changing contributions women engineers make in our society.
