Individual Collegiate Awards

Each year, SWE honors outstanding contributions by Collegiate Members and Advisors with three distinguished Collegiate Awards. These awards are an important part of our Collegiate Program, which recognizes the challenges today’s engineering students face and is dedicated to providing the tools and resources they need to succeed.

Collegiate Awards Overview

Individual Collegiate Member Award (SWE Members)
For collegiate members who have made outstanding contributions to SWE, the engineering community, and their campus. A maximum of six awards are given annually in the following categories:

• Freshmen-Sophomore member
• Junior-Senior member
• Graduate member

Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award
Celebrates an outstanding contribution by a SWE advisor to a SWE collegiate section.

Outstanding SWE Counselor Award
Celebrates an outstanding contribution by a SWE leader/counselor to a SWE collegiate section.
