Annual Conference
Our history began in 1950 when a group of women courageously banded together to form the Society of Women Engineers. We channel their spirit and tenacity daily, and annually, we continue to build upon the tradition of women helping one another establish a voice and a path in the engineering world. During our annual conference, we bring together leaders, businesses, organizations, universities and innovators in the industry. You bring your enthusiasm, perspective and plenty of business cards. Everyone leaves with inspiration and a renewed sense of pride in the engineering profession. In addition to networking and professional development opportunities, attendees can expect to find and renew friendships while connecting with potential employers. Take three days to change the course of your personal history with a myriad of opportunities for growth and development.
More than 6,000 members from across the globe will join in a three-day educational celebration of all things engineering. There’s something for everyone at every stage of their career. Here are just a few of the reasons why WE13 can't be missed:

Hello Ms. Patel,
The WE13 conference is in Baltimore for several reasons. Baltimore has had strong past attendance and good feedback from attendees. Additionally, the city and surrounding areas have a strong base of collegians, members, industry supporters, as well as government members and supporters. The Baltimore Convention Center is convenient to hotels that are priced competitively to other cities, if not lower. The city also has a nice array of attractions and tours, as well as good airport lift, along with public transportation and two surrounding alternate airports.
Best regards,
